“Follow the Clover Brick Road”
Kingman County Fair Attendees,
On behalf of the Kingman County Fair board, we would like to make an apology for the Friday night entertainer Las Vegas Larry The Cable Guy impersonator. His act was not family oriented as we expected, and we as a board were very disappointed in his performance. It is the job of the Fair board to make decisions on who we will hire for the Fair, and this decision was a bad decision. I wish every decision we as a board have made was the correct one, but unfortunately that is not always the case. We as a board will work hard to grow the Fair and make it better.
Fair Board President
Las Vegas Larry The Cable Guy (Tom Daw impersonator)
Friday, July 25th – 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Tom is retired Army and now enjoys being an entertainer in Las Vegas. People are amazed at his likeness to Larry and he has the voice to boot. He is always mistaken for Dan Whitney (Larry The Cable Guy) everywhere he goes. Tom brings Redneck Comedy to a whole new level. Tom is from Alabama and brings that Southern charm. He will make you look twice.
The Soapbox Troubadors
Friday, July 25th – 8:30-10 p.m.
It started with just two guys (DJ Chastain and Frankie Shayne Pearman [Frankie Shayne]) who love music and have strong convictions of faith and now it has grown into a four-piece band with the addition of Ryan Coon, a phenomenal solo acoustic artist, whose melody lines and alternate tunings add a layer that only he could add. The most recent addition to the band is drummer/percussionist Allen “Roni” Frank, who by the way is only 14 years old. The mix of powerful, moving, lyrics and strong, soulful, melodies all backed by an Americana flare make The Soapbox Troubadors a must see. If you have the opportunity to see their show, know you will leave singing their songs.
